These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the SwimTec website (swimtec.com) and the swim lessons, coaching, and camp services we provide. By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
SwimTec provides private swim lessons, competitive stroke analysis and coaching, swim camps, and related programs at our Gainesville and Orlando, Florida locations. Program details, ages, and availability may change.
2. Booking and Scheduling
Lessons and programs are booked through our online scheduling system or by contacting us directly. You are responsible for providing accurate information and for arriving on time for scheduled sessions.
3. Payment
Fees are due as described at the time of booking and are processed securely through our third-party payment processor (Stripe). You authorize us to charge the payment method you provide for the services you book.
4. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds
Sessions cannot be cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled start time. Outside of that 24-hour window, you may cancel through your account portal. All sales are final and we do not offer refunds; however, cancelled or rescheduled sessions may be moved to a future date.
5. Assumption of Risk and Waiver
Swimming and aquatic training involve inherent risks. Participants (or their parent or guardian) are required to review and sign our waiver and release of liability before participating. By enrolling, you acknowledge these risks and agree to the terms of that waiver.
6. Safety and Conduct
For the safety of all students and staff, participants must follow instructor directions and facility rules. We may suspend or end services for conduct that endangers others or disrupts instruction.
7. Photo and Media
Occasionally we may photograph or record lessons for safety, training, or promotional purposes. If you do not wish for you or your child to be included in promotional media, please notify us in writing.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on swimtec.com, including text, logos, images, and training materials, is owned by SwimTec or its licensors and may not be used without permission.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Our services are provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SwimTec is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our website or services, except as set out in any signed waiver or agreement.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page with a new effective date.
